CAN WE GET MARRIED ON SITE?

Currently we do not have a marriage license, however couples can have a blessing anywhere on the property.

CAN WE HAVE A CHURCH WEDDING?

Of course! There are lots of Churches local to Lodders Barn, so if you choose to have a Church wedding, you can use Lodders Barn as your venue for your reception, wedding breakfast and evening party.  The nearest Church is the beautiful All Saints Church in Preston Bagot

WHAT IS YOUR CLOSING TIME?

We are part of a (small) community and although we are in a rural environment we do want to be good neighbours.  For this reason our events finish at midnight (music stopped at 11.30pm)

WHAT IS YOUR DINING CAPACITY?

The Dining Barn can accommodate up to 140 people seated.  The Clubhouse Barn can seat up to 50 people

IS THERE A BRIDAL SUITE TO GET READY?

Yes, we have a bridal suite equipped with kitchenette and en-suite facilities

CAN WE INVITE ADDITIONAL EVENING GUESTS?

There is plenty of room for additional guests in the evening (200 total guests) for drinks and dancing

DO YOU HAVE OUTDOOR HEATERS?

We have outdoor firepits for guests to keep warm

ARE THE BARNS WARM?

The Clubhouse Barn has a working log fire and electric heaters.  The Dining Barn is our most rustic barn which does not have heating, if you are concerned that your guests will get cold, gas heaters can be hired at an additional cost

DO YOU HAVE ONSITE ACCOMMODATION?

Yes, we have two luxury bell tents with double beds inside for hire, plus a shepherds hut with a double bed.  Please contact us for prices and availability

WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT MUSIC?

You can hire a live band or DJ.  The Clubhouse Barn is set up with speakers and lighting ready for the party, playlists can also be plugged in to the sound system

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL?

We offer a range of options and drinks packages.  Please ask for more information

CAN WE USE OUR OWN CATERER?

Of course, we just ask that all caterers respect the space we give them to use. Lodders Barn does not have an onsite caterer or kitchen. We provide a space for caterers to put all their supplies and equipment.  We advise couples caterers to make a site visit before the big day

DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING PLANNING SERVICE?

Our on site team at Lodders Barn will support you throughout the planning process and will be there on the day to make sure everything goes smoothly

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY EVENT NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED?

Under current circumstances (during Covid) we understand the trepidation couples are going through regarding their big day.  1if your wedding cannot go ahead due to government restrictions we will try our best to accommodate couples with a new date that works for you.  Under normal circumstances, on rare occasions, couples may need to cancel their event, we recommend that you get wedding insurance in case of unforeseeable circumstances
